Kingston University is located just outside
of Central London. It’s a great location! It only takes 15 to 20 minutes by
train to get to London. Also, it’s located in the heart of Kingston; it’s only
a 5 minute walk to Kingston’s shopping center where you can find phenomenal
shopping, entertainment, and food. Kingston also has a lovely international
program. If you take the class, British Life and Culture (which I recommend for
all study abroad or Erasmus students) the class takes trips to historical
locations around England such as Stonehenge, Bath, Brighton, Oxford, etc. It’s
a great experience to do with the university because they organize guides and
information for the site. All you have to do is show up!
At the university, there are many ways to get
involved as well. With a large number of societies and clubs, each student
ought to find something that interests him or her. Getting involved is the best
way to meet new people and experience the great city of Kingston. If you do
study here (or anywhere for that matter) I highly recommend that you get
involved in as much as you can. Check out Kingston's list of societies here.
